Volunteer Information:
The 1696 Thomas Massey House has long been considered one of the premier historic sites in Southeastern Pa.  Our volunteers have made the Massey House come alive with the spirit of the colonial period.  Through the events the Massey House board has developed and planned over the years we have been able to portray life as it existed for the 3 centuries of Massey House.  Our colonial dinners, Christmas program, Harvest Festival and other activities have given our visitors and guests the opportunity to experience the history of Southeastern Pa. on a first hand basis.

The Massey House has long been a place for students of history and architecture to come and learn and to develop their academic skills.  Groups of students ranging from elementary to graduate college have made the Massey House a necessary stop on their educational journey.  Many local educators have specified the Massey House for use as research for school papers and dissertations.

The 1696 Thomas Massey house has long had a reputation for excellence within the historic community.  Our staff of volunteers provides the most accurate interpretation of the house and its environment based on available information.

The Massey House offers many varied opportunities and challenges to its family of volunteers.  In order for the Massey House to retain its exemplary status within the historic community the house needs volunteers with a broad range of interests. If you would care to volunteer for the Massey House family, please contact us at 1696ThomasMasseyHouse@gmail.com or call the Massey House at 610-353-3644.
